Both times I’ve been treated at the Emergency Department of Northwestern Memorial Hospital I’ve received a thoroughly itemized bill that even describes the procedures given. This is how I know that one tablet of Norco costs $1.20.
I’m sure there are hospitals in America that are as vague with their billing as depicted in this video, but I have actually been to a hospital (twice!) that is very transparent with their billing.
